Michael & Diana

When I first met Michael and Diana in studio a few months ago I knew that their wedding day was going to be special because of the way they spoke to each other, respect, love and gentleness was things I noticed when I photographed them in studio on their pre-wedding shoot.

On this late summer day in February Michael and Diana, made their vows to each in the beautiful gardens of the Indaba Hotel near Fourways.

This beautiful couple has twin daughters (4 years old) Jada & Jessica who added specialness to their mommy & daddy's wedding day.

From getting dressed throughout to their first dance Michael and Diana included their girls in their day, they sat with their parents at the bridal table and also got to stick their fingers in the wedding cake :-)

Michael and Diana was happy to walk all over the grounds of the Indaba to areas we've pre-spotted(and for those who know the grounds...its big) we got stunning photos for their Designer album and the proof is in the pudding!!!

Michael and Diana are meant for each other, they were lovely to photograph and their appreciation afterwards made me realize this was once again a happy couple and it makes it worth the hours spend on their day and afterwards editing.

May you have a blessed life together as a family and may joy and love be part of your lives forever!

Week 13 Favourite Photo - I've been photographing Chloe since she was still a bump :-)

Lately she was like a typical 2 year old who didn't want to be photographed no matter what the bribe was. Last week mom Veronica brought Chloe's baby brother for a shoot and I said she must bring Chloe along.

With kids her age you never know what to expect and to our great surprise THIS was Chloe's day! Chloe smiled & smiled & smiled and I had that shutter clicking away. What a fun shoot with Chloe this was.

Chloe I hope we can do this again very soon because you are really such a cute and adorable 2 year old, my favourite without a doubt!

Week 12 Favourite Photo - Jason is 7months old and since I photographed him the first time, when he was just a few days old he was such a beautiful boy.

Mom Nicol and dad Tobie brought him for a shoot again last week and had such fun with him, man he is so adorable. I just wanted to take him home, he is a very friendly boy and it didn't take much to make him smile.

Jason you are my favourite of the week without a doubt! Loved to photograph this little man

What you see here is truly how Danie and Wilmari looked at their newborn daughter throughout the session...I only have eyes for you.

This is a photo is from the Coetzee shoot. This little girl just stood out for me this week.

Her innocent blue eyes and dreamy look was the x-factor in this photo.

Mario & Bianca - Accolades

Mario & Bianca

On a sunny Sunday afternoon in February Mario and Bianca started their lives together. Accolades near Grand Central Airport in Midrand is an intimate little venue with a Tuscan touch!

Under a very big Umbrella tree the ceremony was held and a slight breeze cooled us on this hot afternoon. Everyone was scared that it will pour down, as dark clouds lingered near the venue...but little did they know that dramatic dark clouds and soft light was exactly what we ordered for their photos...wink wink!

Bianca looked radiant and Mario ever so handsome, and there was a kind of magic between them. Lots of shiny-eye-smiles and gentle touching made them an ideal couple to photograph. We could see they are in love and looked so happy together.

It did start to rain, just to cool us down and to have a little bit of fun scrambling to get the umbrellas out.

Bianca and Mario enjoyed the session, they were keen on all our ideas and nothing had to be posed! The Tuscan feel added to the special effects of their photos, and I once again realized that a pretty venue allows for so much more photo opportunities and it shows in the product.

The reception was all in pink and looked so lovely. Their cake was stunning and after all formalities was over they opened the dance floor and soon thereafter everyone was on the floor. Even the Locomotion was on the cards...so nice to see couples still enjoy their wedding like they are supposed to!

Mario and Bianca we wish you love laughter and happiness, may you be blessed in your lives together, and it was a pleasure to photograph you!

Ewan & Chrischenda Wedding

Ewan and Chrischenda had a small, intimate wedding at the Ora Bella Restaurant.

I was at first a bit worried about the venue, because most restaurants does not offer many photo oppurtunities. But I was pleasantly surprised when I started looking around.

We really had lots of fun with the session and both Ewan & Chrischenda was real easy to work with.
